I've seen where some people used a grout sealer on the background, so I figured why not. I am applying at least three coats of the sealer with a spray bottle.

March 18th

I went ahead and used the dye, and made it a brown color. This is the third coat with the dye.

March 14th

Second coat of Quikrete. I bought two dyes, but not sure if I really want to use them or not.

The second weekend of March and I finally got a butane torch and went over the front of it, then cut it in three parts and put the first coat of QuikCrete on it.

I had the Styrofoam sheets siliconed together sometime before FEB, but this is when I actually started carving.

My 3D Aquarium Background

This will be my first try at making a 3D aquarium background. I will try to post pics as I go. Here are the materials I got for the project.
